Sara’s honest stage presence, her clear, unaffectedly expressive voice, and effortless sense of swing have made her a firm favourite with jazz audiences across the UK. She has been hailed a ‘musician’s singer’ due to her wonderful way of using dynamics, texture and rhythm to sing the songs. An effortlessly hip, intelligent interpreter of songs in the jazz tradition, her influences include Sarah Vaughan, Shirley Horn, Charles Mingus and Thelonius Monk. Arnie Somogyi is one of the UK's most in-demand bass players and has played on over 60 albums, including five with his own projects as a leader.

Featuring Linda Kovács-Ádám Bögöthy

The Budapest Jazzhouse

Az ének és nagybőgő kettőse első hangzásra talán szokatlannak tűnhet, hiszen a duó formáció zenei műfajtól függetlenül egyike a legmerészebb alkotási formának, ebben a felállásban pedig unikumnak számít. A páros zenéjében az akusztikus hangzás a tradíciók iránti tiszteletet sugallja, míg az elektronika megjelenése reakció a jelen kor hatásaira. Kovács Linda – ének, Bögöthy Ádám – bőgő

While I was in Budapest recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy a concert at the Budapest Jazzhouse, featuring guitarist Zsolt Bende and his dynamic trio. The diverse crowd — from all over the world, I discovered — listened keenly and were as much a part of the experience as the musicians. I was invited to sit in and play guitar on a couple of tunes with Zsolt and the band, which was a real treat. Great players!”

Would warmly recommend this to everyone! You actually get invited into a home, and get to sit in their living room while listening to some really talented musicians. A really intimate and memorable experience! Thank you so much for doing this - it was really an amazing experience!”

This is a must if you like Jazz. The atmosphere is just what jazz should be small, intimate and relaxed. The hosts are very welcoming opening the doors of their own house to share their passion for music.”

Unreal performance in an intimate environment. The music was top-level. To top it off, there were very nice typical Hungarian snacks and drinks. It was a pity that it had to end :) We stop by for sure next time we're in Budapest. Great luck with everything!”
